Amazing Race - February 15

Alright, so tonight is the start of the Amazing Race! So they introduce all the teams, going by pretty fast. You got the regular couples and family member mixes. The most interesting new type of team is the deaf son and mother team, and the gay son and gay father team. Anyways, so they finally are off, and going to Switzerland. I enjoy that they get to choose which flight to take based on landing at different airports and taking a train to the next destination - something I don't think has ever been done on the show. It doesn't seem like they all want to get on the earlier flight...Long story short, the earlier flight and train makes it to the destination first.Big surprise there. Then they have to sign up for times, so everyone bunches up again. It seems like a lot of bugs are there, oh, and someone just mentioned it. Anyways, so fastforward to the next task of bungee jumping at the worlds second longest bungee jump! I don't this should be too tough for the stuntmen team, but everyone else I guess it would be tough. No one really has any huge meltdowns though, and every team gets through alright.....

So fast forward again, picking up on the cheese task. It is pretty hilarious. The hill is pretty steep and it seems pretty tough. The things carrying the cheese are so cheapo looking. The deaf guy just fell and it was hilarious. The Swiss gawkers seem to agree. It seems like this task is going to take forever. The father sliding down seems to be a slow method – it is kinda gross, considering they said there was animal crap everywhere. So the deaf team is done first – now time to go to the pit stop! ooo, they have to find yodelers! Exciting. Next, the lawyers are done. And then the stuntmen. Running through the gauntlet of huge cow bells ringing before getting their taxi is very amusing to watch. And it looks like the next train just came in. And now the gay team is done and on the way to the pit stop. The hick team is looking pretty bad. And commercial time.


Back from commercial. And everyone looks pretty slow. And the last team arrives – the flight attendants. And cut to the yodellers! Sadly the mom is the only one who can hear them. It is pretty funny to hear them singing. And looks like the deaf team are the first to arrive. And Phil signs to them that they are first – impressive Phil. And they win a trip to Mexico for it. And the lawyers are there as team 2. Next are the stuntmen who are incredibly short (which I just noticed now...like they are almost midget height!) And cut back to the cheese hill. The couple in red are falling. As are the flight attendants. And everyone else. Amanda and Kris are next done and off to the pitstop. The hicks are done next, kudos to them. The gay team just checked in as team 4. And the sisters send a cheese wheel rolling. The old couple just finished. The flight attendants just realized they are missing a piece of cheese. And the sisters are off to the pit stop. Oh, there is the cheese for the F.A. Alright, the orange couple just finished the leg. And The flight attendants just finished. So it looks like the hicks can’t find the yodellers. The older couple just finished as team 6. Jaime and Cara just came in 7th. lol to the cut scene of the hicks saying they are lost and dumbasses. The sisters just checked in as 8th. Finally the hicks check in as 9. And it is a dash to the finish. Christie and Jodi are tenth, and the orange couple are out. Oh well. They weren’t very memorable anyways.
