Amazing Race - February 22

Ok, so we’re back for the next episode of Amazing Race! It seems that they are really playing up the deaf guy’s disability and how it isn’t really that big of a problem. I think they are overblowing it a tad. I get it, deaf people are capable of doing things like everyone else. I agree. Anyways, and so they are off to Germany. Lots of teams asking cabbies for their phones. Smart. The hick woman is wearing a full bright neon yellow jumpsuit as a rain jacket. lol. The hubby just remarked she could take it off in the car...though it would be tough taking that behemoth off. So now people are booking through the cell phone...something I haven’t really seen earlier seasons. These people are smart. Looks like Swiss Air is the earlier flight at 7:10. everyone seems to know this. The deaf team gets their tickets. First flight is pretty full. The stuntmen and flight attendants are the only ones on the second flight. Alright, so they are in Munich! They have to drive themselves to a village. And they are on the Autobahn. That thing would be awesome to drive on, with the no limits and whatnot. Ok, so they are getting on this gondola car thing to go to the top of a mountain. The lawyer siblings are the first there. Ok, so the road block is running off a mountain and paraglide to the bottom. These challenges are pretty awesome so far this season. Not for someone with height fears for sure! And cue back to the sisters who are lost in their car in the city. A problem, as the road block is at the mountain. Seems like a big bunch up at the cable car again. So the wind conditions are bad, and they get the option of walking down the mountain. So the girl decides to run down. The next group then arrives. And then the next plane is arriving. So the older lady from the married couple is walking down instead of waiting for the wind. And this starts a bunch of people running. The lost sisters have arrived. The only one left from before is the gay dad. And the stuntmen are there now too. Alright the sisters and stuntment run down as well. So now the dad is only one left. So now the commercial.

We return to the dad freaking out that he won’t get to jump. But then the wind dies down. Hooray for him. So the lawyer siblings just finished and are first. Mel looks a little awkward jumping. The deaf team just finished 2nd. And it appears a lot of people now are finishing. They have to drive to Chenow or something. I have no idea what/where that is. Cue the hick woman walking...she took the wrong pathway. So Mel just landed and they are in 5th. So the lawyers are at the detour. First choice is riding a segway through an obstacle course. The second one is throwing pies at their partner’s face until they find one that is cherry. Hahaa. I love this challenge. The lawyers chose the pie one. It is highly amusing. And very quick. They now need to go to some wood cutters. They do, and then get a clue to go to the pit stop. That was fast. Cue back to the mountain runners. The hick woman is lost and panicking and crying once she gets to a highway instead of to her partner. Awww. Sad times for her. Anyways, commercial time!

And so we are back. The hick woman is getting a drive back to the cable cars. Um, I am pretty sure this is against the rules. So the lawyer siblings are now arriving at the pit stop in Salzburg Austria. They are first and each won a hybrid car?! Did I hear that right? Good leg to win! The second team of the married ones are at the pie challenge. Yes! haha. More pie throwing hilarity. Back to the hick. She didn’t tell the husband she went off course....hmmm....So the gay team is doing the segway challenge. The deaf team is doing the pie, much to the son’s chagrin. The gay team just finished, and the deaf team is still throwing pies. The son wants to switch...um, I wouldn’t start switching now. And so the older couple has arrived. And the sisters have now gotten lost...again. Clearly they are not very good with directions. And so the deaf team are finally done. They are now in 4th. So the gay team just finished in 2nd, the couple came in 3rd. The deaf team is in 4th. The older couple is in 5th. Back to the detour, and stunt people doing the segway and the sisters as well, both done. The flight attendants are doing the pie challenge. Still no clue where the hicks are. Oh wait, there they are! They are doing the pie thing pretty slow. But having fun, which is nice for them. So the flight attendants are holding wood and looking around for where to bring it. The hicks just finished. OOoooO, drama. And now is a good time for a commercial.

And we are back. The stuntmen look to be lost. And so are the sisters. Big shocker. So the hicks and lfight attendants are done the detour. The flight aattendants are asking for directison. The hicks just spotted a sign, and the guy almost tore the wife’s finger off when she pointed. So the sisters just arrived at the pit stop. And then the stuntmen. And so the flight attendants just finished. Which means the hicks are in last. Awww, sad times. They are eliminated from the race. Well, I enjoyed them while they were on. And they are both crying, while they are also drenched in cake. Truly a sad situation to be in. Anyways, that is it folks! Til next episode!
